The broadcast packet sent from the board is not received by the board itself.

description

We have netduino plus board with firmware NETMF 4.2 RTM.
The broadcast packet sent from the board is not received by the board itself.
The broadcast packet sent from emulator is received by the emulator itself.
Is that an issue or is by design choice?

Not being received is different from desktop behaviour and that's never helpful for development.
This is causing me issues for porting the xAP home automation framework to NETMF.

I am seeing this also on the GHI EMX module running .NetMF 4.2. I can send broadcast packets and receive them on other EMX devices, but the originating EMX device doesn't seem to see its own broadcasts.
